When you have a bit of extra cash you can part with, my suggestion would be to spend some of that money and put it towards upgrading the camp’s food, ammo, and medical stashes early, and each of them can be upgraded a few times for better quality items, such as improved tonics to boost your Health and Stamina, or more powerful weaponry like fire bottles and different ammo types. The more you put into the camp, the more you get, so don’t miss out on expanding its uses while exploring the Open world games story guide and completing missions.
It was an abused item by already powerful Champions such as Irelia and would make the game harder than it already is. For the moment, some are wishing for its return while others aspire for something differ
One of the more gritty locations in Red Dead Redemption 2 is called the Meteor House. Dubbed so, because everybody inside the house appears to have been utterly disemboweled by a stray meteor. Throughout the numerous towns and areas you’ll visit in Red Dead Redemption 2 , you’ll run into plenty of general stores and gun shops where you can stock up on supplies during or in-between missions. While ammo and healing supplies are naturally items you’ll want to pick up when you have the opportunity, two particularly useful items (at least I find) you should always make sure that you have in supply when needed are gun oil and snake oil.
Now, while I enjoy that Red Dead Redemption 2 has built in so many things that force you to slow down, I think it’s important to note that this probably isn’t something I would want to see from every video game in existence. Trust me, I enjoy how streamlined most other games are now as much as the next guy. But in Red Dead Redemption 2 , I think I’ve started to see early on in my playthrough the larger purpose that Rockstar has with all of these added elements to the game.

The year is 1911. John Marshton was once a dangerous outlaw but has left that life behind to pursue the simple pleasures of being a family man. John is enjoying his new life until the Bureau of Investigation visits him to work out a deal with him and take his wife and kid into custody for leverage. As a former outlaw, John is facing some serious penalties for his past but the FBI is willing to cut him a break if he brings his former gang members to justice. John agrees to these terms, not like he has much choice, and travels to Fort Mercer to confront his former rappy, Bill Williamson. Things go horribly wrong and instead of bringing anyone to justice, John is shot and left for dead, only to end up in the care of Bonnie MacFarlane.
By forcing you to slow down and complete duties that seem lackluster, you slowly start to feel more present in this world and grow closer to your own version of Arthur. If Red Dead Redemption 2 was just all about riding around the West and shooting up saloons with your revolver, you’d likely feel disconnected from your avatar. The game then just becomes a power trip and the character that you end up playing is just an amplified version of your own wants and desires. Doing simple chores though such as chopping wood, skinning animals and dragging them back to my horse, and donating to the gang’s larger pool of money has made me feel more of a bond with Arthur than any other character I’ve played as in recent memory. My bond with the character thus far has been established in these small moments, not the large ones.
Its build path is pretty bad too. You won’t get much profit out of it if you chose to stick with it later on into the game. Given its early-game relevance, it isn’t the best item to push through tow
Avarice’s Blade is an old but outdated item in League of Legends . When it existed, Riot was known to remove hidden power via gold gains. Previous patches were unable to change much about Avarice Blade and already it was once the only item that lost something if one were to upgrade
Your horse is not only your primary means of transportation while roaming the landscape of Red Dead Redemption 2 , but it’s also your primary means of storage and carrying equipment between missions. Notably, that includes all of your stored weaponry, tonics, gear, and more, making it all the more important to pay attention to what you have on you.
Honestly, I agree with most of this. I do think that Red Dead Redemption 2 forces you to do far more menial tasks that I feel like most other developers would never think to include. Being forced to pick up your weapons from your horse and equip them to Arthur before heading out in the wild is a far cry compared the hundreds of other games in existence that allow you to carry near-infinite weapons on your person. In addition to having to physically pick up items off of the shelf in a general store, the lack of a fast travel system early on, and the need to do other small chores such eating food in order to keep up your Cores, these tasks do seem almost boring and their inclusion could be questionable.
