The 30 Most Anticipated Movies of 2017

From the sweeping sands of the Middle East through hidden labyrinths under modern-day London, The Mummy brings a surprising intensity and balance of wonder and thrills in an imaginative new take that ushers in a new world of gods and monsters. The Mummy aims to launch a shared cinematic Monsters universe for Universal Pictures that sadly does not include Dracula Unto

Regardless of what the most hardcore fans thought, the Mists of Pandaria trailer became an incredibly popular TV spot in the month’s leading up to the game’s release. It featured exciting action with its three way battle, but more importantly, showcased Blizzard’s sense of humor. The trailer isn’t full of jokes at all, but a few well-placed visual gags make it impossible not to love the cinematic introduction of the universe’s new r

None of these point to a Justice League by themselves, but switched-on fans will notice a few small, yet crucial bits of information. A future newspaper confirms the existence of Wayne Enterprises. Barry mentions off-hand that a test pilot from Ferris Aircraft has gone missing, Rip Hunter makes note of “Dark Knights” and “Men of Steel”, and Jay Garrick confirms the existence of both Atlantis and Aquaman on his Earth. Given that Earth-2 has all of the same characters who live only slightly divergent lives, it’s perfectly reasonable to assume that Atlantis exists on Earth-1 – it’s just still beneath the wa

Plants vs. Zombies 2 already has 10 “premium plants” for a total cost of more than $30 altogether, tax included. And that’s just plants. You can also pay for upgrades and in-game coins. To my knowledge, Plants vs. Zombies never went higher than $20 for the whole game, with no micro-transactions, so I can only assume PopCap is making a truckload off of this. Now I know people like to point out how less than 10 percent of people who play free-to-play games participate in micro-transactions. This makes it seem like the companies are doing what’s best for the player by offering a portion of their game for free, while only making a small chunk of change on the side to get by. It’s a compelling narrative that doesn’t hold up to scrutiny. This number conveniently leaves out how much money they’re actually making from those ten percent of people who want a full gaming experience.

There’s no denying that all of the WoW expansion cinematics are pretty fantastic and using only a few for this list was a hard task. The Burning Crusade trailer runs with the same theme as the original and the others start working more and more lore into the reveals. However, these five stood out the most for their impact and genuine wow (no pun intended) fac

While the recent rework for Ryze has made him a lot less “point and clicky,” it is still frustrating that he gets to unilaterally decide to snare you. Almost every other champion with a snare that long requires them to land https://WWW.Mobanewshub.com/ the spell on you. In turn, you have to have failed to dodge that spell, so theirs is more of an inward feeling of frustration when it happens. However, against Ryze, you know there’s nothing you can do, at some point when fighting him, he will decide you’re not allowed to move and you have to like it. Still, at least his damage all comes from skill shots, so overall the rework made him less frustrating to play against. Why is he still on this list then? Well the rework made him more frustrating to play with. His ultimate now transports his own teammates to a location of his choosing. A single poor choice has sent many a team into a toxic, in-fighting spi

Thank you Riot and all that is good above for finally making Warwick’s ultimate a skill shot. There was nothing more obnoxious than when he was able to unilaterally decide: you’re not allowed to play, you are going to take a bunch of damage, I am going to gain a lot of health, and you will like everything about this. He is still very much built around that decision, but at least you have a chance of dodging it. Though that is easier said than done, because unless he completely messes up, the only way you will dodge his ultimate is with your flash and you only get one of those every five minutes. He still has an obnoxious amount of life steal, especially when low hea

Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto V isn’t lagging too far behind, with a respectable nine nominations in categories including Best Game, Best British Game, Best Performer (for Steven Ogg, who voiced Trevor) and Game Innovation. Released to both critical acclaim and the usual controversy, Grand Theft Auto V was the first game in the franchise to feature three protagonists, with the player able to move between each of them at almost any t

I admit that Dota 2 has the benefit of an established fan base unmatched by almost any free-to-play game (League of Legends excluded). Not many games have fans who are willing to pay for something that doesn’t benefit them in any way. Taking that into account, though, there still is no good excuse for free-to-play micro-transactions that benefit the company more than the player. Honestly, the solution is just to make your game cost money. Remember that? When games cost a flat fee for the entire thing? This was a largely successful model, and the only reason I can see for the shift is pure greed, especially by a company like EA that already has boatloads of money to roll in.
