After being named the Game of the Year at the 2015 Game Developers Conference, it looks like Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor may be getting a Game of the Year edition. While there’s not yet any official word on the edition, Warner Bros. did submit the game for a Game of the Year classification to the Australian Classification Bo
And if an addicting game is your thing, well, you’re in luck as Legend of Solgard has a staggering amount of content. The game’s campaign launches with four different worlds each containing forty levels, one boss, and one mini-boss. That’s just the game’s campaign mode; the game also includes modes called Treasure Caves , Bounties , Guild Bosses , and Hero Arena . While the Treasure Caves and Bounties just serve as places where you can farm Sun Gems (gems that you use with coins to level up each of your factions), chests, and coins, the Hero Arena introduces PvP to the game. The more players you square-off against and come out victorious, the higher your ranking on the Hero Arena ‘s leaderboards will go and the more in-game goodies will be gifted to you. Similarly, the game’s Guild Bosses mode allows you to team up with other players to cooperatively face some of the game’s most challenging bosses in exchange for, you guessed, more in-game good
We wouldn’t be surprised to see the Shadow of Mordor receive a Game of the Year edition, especially considering the strong reviews it received from both critics and gamers. We at moba game esports news Rant gave the game a 4.5 out of
On the flipside, Dota 2 attempts to diversify its heroes’ roles. It’s a lot more feasible for a Dota 2 hero to begin as a support, but to finish the game as the one carrying the game. The heroes are grouped into three categories; Agility, Strength, and Intelligence. However, in and out of the same category, the heroes are vastly different from each other, some being extremely unique. Rubick can steal abilities. Invoker has ten spells. At the same time, equipment purchases are a lot less restrained. Any hero can buy Aghanim’s Scepter or a Blink Dagger. These choices allow for novel matches to happen fairly of
You see, Championship Manager 1970s Legends is not a perfect game. As a game designed for a portable device, it’s almost entirely terrible. With far too many menus and stats to keep track of, it requires thought, patience, and can’t be played in anything like the same manner as Angry Birds . But it is addictive. Even if, like me, you have no knowledge of 1970’s soccer players, you begin to form an attachment nonetheless. I soon realized that my top striker was a guy named Peter Lorimer, and so I began to put him in every game I played, and he always came out on top. Having now researched him on the internet, it’s clear that he was was a pretty darned good soccer player. That’s another good thing about Legends , it doesn’t require knowledge to play it, but it does encourage further research. To be quite honest however, I don’t care about the real Peter Lorimer. All I know is, he’s the best player on my team, and he’s going to win me the Championship, 70s st
At any given point, half the players are losing and more than half are criticizing their team. Frustrations have reached a point, where just the sight of certain champions (whether on your team or the enemy team) is enough to send players into a rage spiral. Is it a self-fulfilling prophecy? Does the belief that you always do poorly against a certain champion ensure that you play poorly, since you’ve already resigned yourself to loss? Does the belief that certain champions (especially when challenging the meta by being in a different role) are useless to your team ensure that you won’t encourage that player or help them? The answer may be intangible and a complex combination, but in any case, here are the fifteen most hated League charact
Now, a little bit of context: I was playing Championship Manager 70s Legends in my local library. In a place where one can appreciate true peace-and-quiet, it was a perfect environment to play the game. After all, iPhones are supposed to be taken with you, wherever you go — it is a mobile phone, after all — and so when I finally had a few minutes to myself, I thought I’d take on Leeds’ first ma
Last month, word broke that Microsoft had canceled a reboot of Phantom Dust , which was being developed by Darkside Games. The reboot was meant to revive the cult classic from the original Xbox, and while Darkside Games is no longer working on it, Microsoft says it still plans to release the game at some point for Xbox One. Microsoft didn’t provide a reason for cancelling the project, or when they envision the game will rele
As soon as the game started, I couldn’t help but squeal with joy as my team passed effectively, and scored their first ever goal under my command. 1-0. Hurrah, I cried! My first match, and I’m winning! This game is great! Five out of Five! Play resumed following my striker’s outstanding goal, and I became momentarily distracted by a pretty girl walking p
